How do you say goodbye/farwell
It is with my great sadness and pain in my heart to inform you that Finn died very suddenly at 4.30 on Thursday 12 October 2023 from a massive heartattack/stroke. He is mourned by myself, his 3 sons – Jesper, Lars and Casper, as well as daughters-inlaw and 7 grandchildren.
I would like to conclude this post with a memorial written by one of our Amigos friends, Guus van de Werff, as it sums up what Finn was like on his favourite place, the golf course.
With his death we will see him:
- Never more on the Driving range
- Never again playing with a cigar or pipe in his mouth
- Never telling stories how to improve his or your swing
- Never giving more putting lessons
- Never more on a golf course
- Never more giving a lecture in mental toughness and coaching
- Never drinking a glass of wine, whiskey or what else!
We will never forget our “grumpy old man”. HALLELUJAH
